Seem’s that gmail’s sign up link is now working… you no longer need to be invited by anyone?

Yep, it seems to work for me. got streigt to the sign up page. But still the ‘About Gmail’ (http://mail.google.com/mail/help/about.html#faq) page says Gmail is by invitation only.
Have U found a backdoor???

Hey I found it. Yes they have removed invitation only thing. Still we can invite others to gmail, but also others can sign up straight away. They say ‘It’s a Gmail party and everyone is invited! ‘(http://mail.google.com/mail/help/about_whatsnew.html).
